一、 复习

1 引导学生复习Integrated skills部分的内容

⑴When does the final start?

⑵Where do they watch the final?

⑶How do they go there?

⑷How much is the ticket?

⑸What do you think of their trip?

2 要求两个学生就以上内容用几句话作一个简单的回顾介绍。

二、呈现

1 教师说:Linda is going back to the USA soon. So Kitty and Daniel invite their classmates to go out together with Linda on a trip.

What places in Beijing do you think they will go to? What can they do they? 引导学生讨论并接受所有合理的回答。

2 引导学生仔细阅读课本53页的计划,针对计划向学生提问。

1. How many places of interest are they going to visit?

What are they?

2. What will they do in Beihai park?

3. How will they get to the Palace Museum from Sunshine Underground Station?

4. What will they do at Tian’anmen Square?

5. How much time will they spend at Tian’anmen Square?

6. When will they leave Wangfujing Street?

三、练习

1 教师说:The trip plan is ready. Kitty and Daniel are writing an invitation letter to the classmates, but they miss some information. They need your help.

学生自己阅读这封信,并根据课本53页A部分计划的内容将该内容邀请函补充完整。教师巡视,解决可能遇到的问题。

2 教师领读并解释重点句型:

We will then take the underground to the centre of Beijing and change to the bus.

We will take the bus all the way to the Palace Museum.

We will make it a really fun day for everyone.

If you want to come, please let us know as soon as possible. We hope you can join us.

3 教师让学生根据该邀请函时必须清楚地给出的信息。总结说明邀请函书写格式及可能包括附件:日期、收信人、目的、计划、花费、说明、结束语等。

4 教师创设情境:Now, you are planning to go out for a trip with your e-friend, and you want to invite your classmates to go out with you. So you need to make a good plan for your trip and write an invitation letter to your classmates.要求学生四个人一组,参照53 A部分的计划,按照B部分的要求写出一个新的计划。

5学生在小组内进行交流讨论,相互检查,补充不完善的信息,提醒学生在自己的计划中吸取他人的想法。

6 展示学生修改过的计划,可以忽略一些细小的错误,避免挫伤学生的积极性。

四、写作

1 自由写作,分发白纸,尽量运用所学知识,模仿54页的邀请函,写一篇有自己特色的邀请信。

2 如果时间允许,选几篇优秀范文朗读,若时间不多,即布置家庭作业

五、家庭作业

1 完成作文

2记忆本节课所学的重点词组和句型。

3 完成补充习题中的相关练习
