Several countries will have to face the tough question of whether to raise interest levels to curb inflation or cut them to stimulate consumption, China Business Journal reports.
The commentary suggests that in the face of a turbulent world economy; China should stimulate consumption demand as well as make industrial upgrades for further economic development.
The author says that with the world experiencing an economic decline, China shouldn't depend exclusively on exports and foreign investment.
The commentary also points out that although the Consumer Price Index in China increased dramatically over the last half year, the drop in net income might lower consumption capacity in the latter half of the year.
