A parade in southern Iraq today as the British military turned control of Basra province over to Iraqi troops. Iraqi forces now have primary responsibility for 9 of Iraq's 18 provinces. Basra was the last province under British control. Britain plans to pull all but 2000 of its troops out by spring time.
