Aaron Nevill转而签约 Minit唱片公司后， 开始了他的个人歌唱事业。 1960年《 Over You》 推出， 在乐坛反映并不十分热烈。 直到1967年 《Tell It Like It Is》的出版，在这首旋律简洁流畅的民谣之中，Nevill运用他敏锐的感悟能力和扎实的演绎功力，在歌声中传达了日渐高涨的黑人人权运动的共鸣之声。

1989年，Aaron Nevill推出了《Don'tKnow Much》，这是一首他与Linda Ronstad 联袂演绎的歌曲，其优美的旋律，深情的歌声打动了无数乐迷的心。接着，A&M 公司又推出了Aaron Nevill的个人专辑《The Grand Tour》，聆听这张专辑，让人恍若暂别了喧嚣繁华的都市生活，身心都得到一次舒适的休憩。人们把他的歌声称为“天使之声”。而专辑中的两首浓郁宗教色彩的歌曲《The Lord's Prayer》和《Song Of Bernadette》在轻吟浅唱之中寄托了深深的情思。
