My April Fool 's Day
Yesterday was April Fool’s Day. I successfully fooled someone. That’s my husband.
When came to work in the morning, most of my colleagues noticed this and looked very prudent in case to be a fool. I looked around and didn’t find a suitable person to be fooled. Finally I thought of my husband. I already told him to take care the day before last. But I still wanted to have a try. I sent him a short message and told him that I would go shopping after work and arrive home later. His reaction was very normal and just reminded me to pay attention to my safety. Then I finished work at off time and went back home at around 18:10 as usual. I heard inside the TV was on. I didn’t use my key to open the door, but knocked at the door and hided behind the door. The door opened after a few seconds. My husband looked around cautiously and finally found me. He’s a little doubtful. At this time I couldn’t help laughing immediately. He suddenly knew he was fooled.
Guess what made him a fool? Because he was so happy for my absent from home that he needn’t prepare the supper! It seemed that I had to learn to cook by myself. Wuwu!
