卜算子-咏梅（毛泽东）

风雨送春归,飞雪迎春到,已是悬崖百丈冰,犹有花枝俏.
俏也不争春,只把春来报,待到山花烂漫时,她在丛中笑.

My Translation is as follows(first published in a forum hosted by my hometown fellows on Nov. 6th, 2007)

Ode to plum

When departing, last spring had wind and rain as it's escort.
On returning, the new spring is welcomed by snowflakes flying in cold.

Clad with layers of ice, the cliffs rise sheer and high,
Where amazingly a plum blossom is so bright.

Bright  though the blossom is, she claims not to be spring's queen.
She is always contented to be the harbinger of spring.

Till the moutains are covered with flowers sweet and fair,
She is cheering with them in the early year's fresh air.

对译文的简要说明：
1、音步方面，未能严格扬抑之规，惭愧。2、押韵方面，取aa, bb, cc, dd 韵法 3、达意方面，算是达到了吧。4，特别说明：词中所说梅花，我翻译成英文时，选择用单数形式，因觉得那幅画够壮观而婉丽（想象一下，雪花飘舞，百丈悬崖，冰封巨石，一花独秀……）
