北京奥组委公布了奥运会境内公众第四阶段的售票政策。从2008年7月25日起，北京2008年奥运会最后的82万余张体育比赛门票将通过场馆售票亭面向公众发售。公众可使用现金或Visa卡在售票亭排队购票，每次排队只能购买1个场次，最多2张体育比赛门票，门票当场领取，为热敏票。
  Beijing will put its last set of 820,000 Olympic tickets on sale in booths at Olympic venues on Friday.

Beijing Olympics ticketing director, Zhu Yan, gave the details of the ticket distribution.

"In the last batch, some 250,000 of the tickets are for Beijing-based events, with the rest for soccer qualifiers to be held in co-host cities."

Prospective buyers had previously complained of not being able to complete their purchases after the third batch of tickets was released in May, but games organizers say this set will have no problems.

The new move is widely applauded by sports enthusiasts both at home and abroad.

"I think this is a good chance. I thought I might not be able to see the Olympics with my own eyes, but I'll take the initiative to buy tickets from a booth this weekend."

"I really like Chinese culture, that's why I'm here to travel. As for the Olympics, I wasn't able to get tickets back in California, but now I know it's sold at ticket booths, I'm definitely going to get one."

According to organizers, each person is limited to buying a maximum of two tickets for one session, with 28 sports available. A total of nearly 7 million tickets for the Beijing Games have been available for sale, with about two thirds being reserved for the general public.
