How to Keep Healthy

健康秘籍

Good health is the most valuable possession a person can have, but one can not regard good health as certain to happen. It's important to remember that a body needs proper care in order to be healthy. There are three things that a person can do to stay in good shape一one should eat the right foods, get enough sleep, and exercise regularly.

健康是一个人能够拥有的最有价值的东西,但是人们不能把身体健康看成理所应当。重要的是要记住,身体需要恰当的关爱才能健康。要想保持健康,有三件事要做---合理饮食,保持足够的睡眠,经常锻炼。

Proper nutrition is important for good health. Your body cannot function well unless it receives the proper kind of “fuel”. Avoid foods with lots of sugar and fat. Eat plenty of foods high in protein, like meat, fish, beans and nuts. Vegetables and fruits are especially important because they provide necessary vitamins and minerals. However, don't overeat. It's not healthful to be overweight.

合适的营养对身体健康非常重要。你的身体只有接受合适的“燃料”才能正常发挥功能。要避免含大量糖分和脂肪的食物。大量摄取高蛋白质的食物,如肉类、鱼类、豆类和坚果类食物。蔬菜和水果特别重要,因为它们提供必要的维生素和矿物质。但是,不要过量摄食,身体超重是不健康的。

Getting the proper amount of sleep is also important. If you don't get enough sleep, you will feel tired and irritable. You have no energy. Over a long period of time a little amount of sleep may even result in a change of personality. Be sure to allow yourself from seven to nine hours of sleep each night. If you do, your body will feel strong and refreshed, and your mind will be sharp.

保持足够的睡眠也是重要的。如果睡眠不足,你就会疲劳,易怒,浑身没有力气。长时间睡眠不足甚至会导致个性的变化。要保证每晚有七到九个小时的睡眠。如果你这么做,你的身体会感觉强壮而精力充沛,大脑思维敏锐。

Finally, get plenty of exercise. Exercise firms the body, strengthens the muscles, and prevents you from gaining weight. It also improves your heart and lungs. If you follow a regular exercise program, you will probably increase your lifespan. Any kind of exercise is good. Most sports are excellent for keeping the body in good shape: basketball, swimming, bicycling. Gymnastics and running are good examples. Sports are not only good for your body, but they are enjoyable and interesting, too.

最后,要有足够的锻炼。锻炼使身体强壮,肌肉结实,防止体重过度增加。锻炼也能增强心肺功能。如果你经常有规律地锻炼,就可能延长寿命。任何方式的锻炼都是好的。大多数的运动项目对维持身体健康都非常好,如篮球、游泳和骑车。体操和跑步也是很好的健身运动。体育锻炼不仅有利于健康,也是很好的享受,富有乐趣。

If everybody were to eat the right foods, get plenty of sleep and exercise regularly, the world would be a happier and healthier place. We would all live to be much older and wiser.

如果人人都合理饮食,保持足够的睡眠.并经常锻炼,这个世界将是一个更加愉快、更加健康的地方,我们都将活得更长久、更有智慧。
