Aerial insecticide spraying to combat mosquitos carrying the Zika virus is underway in Miami Beach. A plane carrying the insecticide released the spray over the Atlantic Ocean before dawn on Friday.
A passenger train derailed in Spain, killing four people and injuring 47 others who were taken to hospitals. The accident occurred Friday morning about 280 miles northwest of Madrid.
A cat was rescued from rubble in a quake-devastated town in central Italy. It was not clear if the cat had been trapped since the August 24th earthquake or if it was buried under rubble during an aftershock. Either way the cat is now safe and sound.
