U.N. Security Council members met for a session on Sunday to discuss the ongoing crisis in Syria. The council is expected to vote on a Syria resolution to allow the U.N. to provide assistance in the safe civilian evacuations from Aleppo.
The mayor of Corpus Christi, Texas says officials have ended a ban on drinking the city's water after test results showed no contamination due to a chemical leak. Mayor Dan McQueen said Sunday that residents can resume using the city's water supply for drinking, bathing, and cooking.
Officials say that gunmen carried out a series of attacks in Jordan, including at a Crusader castle popular among tourists. Those killed include members of the Jordanian security forces and a woman from Canada.
And a Santa Run was held for the first time in Kosovo on Sunday. About 380 Santas ran over three miles to provide food for families in need during the winter.
